A WORD FOR YOUR DAY! [Pastor Chris ]

But rise, and stand upon thy feet: for I have appeared unto thee for this purpose, to make thee a minister and a witness both of these things which thou hast seen, and of those things in the which I will appear unto thee (Acts 26:16). Its important that you locate yourself in Gods plan for your life.
When that happens, it gives you a special type of boldness and audacity to be what God made you to be. When you discover your purpose, your struggles will be over, and youll be on cruise-control as you go about fulfilling your destiny in Him. Nothing could be more fulfilling than a life with purpose. God has a purpose for your life; discover and fulfil your purpose. To be anything else other than what God has destined you to be is failure. Consider for a moment the story of John the Baptist in John 1:19-23. He knew he was born for a purpose. He knew he came to the world to fulfil a definite purpose and so when the Jews confronted him and sought to know his identity he declared without mincing words: "I am the voice of one crying in the wilderness, Make straight the way of the Lord, as said the prophet Esaias" (John 1:23). He located his purpose in the Word as written by the Prophet Isaiah and lived to fulfil it. Consider also the Lord Jesus Christ; He said in Hebrews 10:7, "...Lo, I come (in the volume of the book it is written of me,) to do thy will, O God." The Lord Jesus came to the world for a purpose, to do the Fathers will. He lived and died as the sacrifice for the sins of all men, and was gloriously raised back to life for our justification. Do you know the specific purpose for your being? You need to discover your reason for being because until you know your God-given purpose, you cant affect your world for Christ as you should. Look into the mirror of God and discover yourself and your purpose in Him. Its in the Word that you locate your God-given place in this life.
