terrorism, etc. As a Christian, however, you must realize that the problems in the world are not set against you, for though you�re in the world, you�re not of the world (John 15:19). The problems and hardship in the world today are your opportunities to shine and manifest the glory of God. God has set you up as the hope of the world; you�re the answer to the problems in the world. The Lord Jesus said in John 9:5, �As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world.� Then in Matthew 5:14, He said, �Ye are the light of the world�.� That means like Jesus, you�re a saviour to your world. God seeks to reach every soul on earth; He seeks to bring the unsaved to the knowledge of the Gospel and establish the reign of His Kingdom in their hearts through you. You�re His outstretched arm to your world today. That�s why He says, ��saviours shall come up on mount Zion�.� You�re a saviour from Zion, glory to God! The Lord Jesus did His part in obtaining salvation for all men through His vicarious death and glorious resurrection. Now, it�s your responsibility to tell others about His saving power. That, really, is the solution to the problems in today�s world: the Gospel of Jesus Christ! You should be vitally involved as the Lord�s partner in the important business of soul winning: �For we are labourers together with God: ye are God�s husbandry, ye are God�s building� (1 Corinthians 3:9). In John 20:21, the Lord Jesus said, ��as my Father hath sent me, even so send I you.� You�ve been endowed with everything you require to be an effective witness and custodian of the Gospel. See yourself in this light; you�re God�s hands of love, mercy and comp assion to the world.
