A WORD FOR YOUR DAY! [PASTOR ANITA ]

Call It Forth! (As it is written, I have made thee a father of many nations,) before him whom he believed, even God, who quickeneth the dead, and calleth those things which be not as though they were (Romans 4:17). Consider Abraham; he had no child, and was almost one hundred years old, yet God said to him, "I have made thee a father of many nations" (Romans 4:17). This wasn't a promise; it was a statement of fact. Abraham could have said, "Lord, you know I'm an old man now, it's no longer possible for me to have children"; he didn't say that! Rather, he believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness. It pays to believe. This experience of Abraham reveals an important principle of faith; the principle of calling the things that be not as though they were. Though Abraham was already very old, God didn't give up on him. It makes no difference how long you've waited for that miracle; don't give up; call it forth. Faith calls things that be not as though they were. Regardless of the situation you may be in right now, there's absolutely nothing impossible with God, who gives life to the dead. The Bible says for us to be followers or imitators of God (Ephesians 5:1). That means, you're to operate the God-kind of faith. What you feel and see in the natural are subject to change; only the Word endures forever: "...for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal" (2 Corinthians 4:18). The question is, what do you really believe? If you believe the Word, then boldly speak it forth. We don't believe to be quiet: "...according as it is written, I believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak" (2 Corinthians 4:13).
