"Be Not Conformed To This World" And be not conformed to this worldC but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God (Romans 12:2). As a child of God, you're not of this world, though you;re in the world.
You've been chosen out of the world (John 15:19). Therefore, refuse to be influenced by the system of this world, which is run by Satan. When God made the world, it was perfect and beautiful (Genesis 1:31). After Adam;s transgression in the Garden, Satan became the prince of this world (John 12:31, 14:30, Ephesians 2:2). But the wealth and riches of the world are no longer his; he lost them when Jesus defeated and paralyzed him, and made an open spectacle of him and his demons in hell (Colossians 2:15). However, Satan set up a system, which the world runs on because of ignorance and unbelief (2 Corinthians 4:3-4). This is the reason the world is in such a mess. You can;t win with the system of this world; you;d have to apply the principles of God;s Kingdom to win because the system of this world is designed to fail. The world;s principles of success are selfish and godless. Its god and architect, Satan, is defeated and so is the system. God;s Word contains the most assured principles for lasting success. That;s why you must study the Word voraciously and consistently, and apply the principles therein to your personal life. God;s Word will illuminate your spirit to know how to function in this world and be a success in life.
