A WORD FOR YOUR DAY! [Pastor Chris] OCT 26

Finally, brethren, pray for us, that the word of the Lord may have free course, and be glorified, even as it is with you (2 Thessalonians 3:1). In a world of constant hostility to the light and truth of the Gospel, we must maintain our solid front and pray that the Word of the Lord may have free course and be glorified.
Thank God therere so many hearing and receiving the Gospel every day, but still, so many people are yet to hear the good news of Christs salvation. This is why its important for us to pray for Christian ministries, ministers of the Gospel, and fellow believers in their efforts to evangelize the nations of the world. Pray that more doors of opportunity will be open to the Gospel and it will be preached unhindered throughout the world, resulting in the salvation of more souls. Often times, some believers could be distracted from preaching the Gospel due to terrible hardships and persecutions. We must intercede for these ones to be strengthened with might by the Holy Ghost in the inner man, and that their faith be perfected in the Lord. Also, consciously and always pray for the impact of the Gospel via the various media: Internet, TV, Radio, Print, etc. This is very important, because through the Internet, TV and radio, books and journals, the Gospel message can get to places no man or group of people may be able to reach. From Revelation 1:6 and Revelation 5:10, we understand that God has made us kings and priests. Function in your office today as a praying priest and a reigning king. Take some time to pray for the impact of the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ in your nation. Pray that in the cities, villages, towns and settlements, the people will give heed to the Gospel; and therell be great joy, progress and prosperity all around your country as the Word of God grows mightily and prevails.

Pastor Chris
