She is probably one of the hardest-working artists in the music business right now. And one of the hardest partying, too. And, of course, combining the two is ideal for the singer who decided to head to a nightclub in the middle of recording sessions for her upcoming seventh studio album.
The 24-year-old star was spotted on Thursday heading into the recording studio to continue singing sessions for her upcoming album Unapologetic.
The hitmaker made sure to ditch her coat and hit the club during a well-deserved break in recording. Rihanna found time to some partying at The Colony Nightclub in Hollywood.
The singer wore a sexy grey mini dress with sheer straps, which she teamed with casual Nike Air trainers.
Rihanna recently released the new lead single, Diamonds, from her upcoming album Unapologetic. People have speculated that Rihanna’s choice of album title may be referring to her rumoured reunion with her controversial ex-boyfriend, Chris Brown.
She has been hitting the headlines even more than usual lately after her ex Chris Brown ended his relationship with model Karreuche Tran.
Chris recorded a video message about the reasons for the split – which he then posted online for millions to see. He said: "I love Karrueche very much, but I don't want to see her hurt over my friendship with Rihanna. I'd rather be single allowing us to both be happy in our lives."
Chris and Rihanna have since been seen together at a Jay-Z concert – with Chris later spotted leaving Rih-Rih’s hotel room in New York City.
Also on Thursday Rihanna revealed the artwork for her latest album, and as usual caused controversy by flashing her flesh on the cover. The front shows the singer topless with her arm covering her breasts and black and white writing scrawled over her body including the words 'faith', 'happy' and 'victory'.
